Metro Vancouver: Captain Allen Domaas, Port Metro Vancouver's Chief Sustainability Officer and former President of the legacy Fraser River Port Authority, announced his retirement following a distinguished 35-year maritime career. Domaas will retire on July 11. Capt. Domaas entered the patrol division of the Fraser River Harbour Commission on June 1, 1973. "Participating in the emergence of a competitive niche port in the Fraser River reflects some of the most exciting times and decisions of my life," said Domaas. |
